How fast is AMPS?

AMPS was designed and programmed to scale with cores where the limits of performance are dictated by the capabilities of the network. A single instance of AMPS on a 2-socket/16-core server is capable of processing and delivering millions of 1KB messages per second.

To measure the speed of AMPS for a specific application, see the guidelines in the Evaluation Guide. In particular, it's important to use the messaging pattern, message sizes, and features that your application will use.
